What is protein?
An essential component of every cell in the body. protein is a macronutrient made of 22 'building blocks called amino acids bound together to form protein structures. proteins have different function in the body, including contributing to the growth of muscle mass, and to the maintenance of the muscle and bone. All these functions are very important for your body to function at its best, so an adequate amount of daily dietary protein will help you to keep heathy.
Am i getting enough?
if your protein intake is not meeting your nutritional need, you will likely find it more difficult to sustain a balanced diet and reach your goals.
when on an exercise program, your body requires a higher intake of good quality protein to build and maintain muscle (lean mass), and promote recovery for an example, an active male who consumes up to 2000kcals per day and is looking to build muscle should aim for up to 150g protein in his daily diet. for a woman who wants to control her weight and consumes up to 1400kcals per day, her recommended daily intake would be between 52-105g protein.

No, there are no fillers. We’ve selected every ingredient for a functional purpose, using only high-quality dairy-protein isolates and concentrates.
Q: Why does the Herbalife24 product line contain dairy protein and not soy
For years, many of the professional teams and athletes we sponsor have requested Herbalife® products formulated with dairy proteins. We are also responding to the requests of Distributors, who cite the growing number of customers looking for alternatives to soy, hence we recently released the Formula 1 Allergen-Free shake mix, which is dairy-, soy- and gluten-free.
Formula 1 Sport is not only a line extension of the classic Formula 1 series, it’s also designed to be a healthy meal for athletes. Although soy protein isolate is a high-quality ingredient, the products in the Herblife24 line use a combination of whey and casein proteins for rapid and sustained amino acid release, which is perfect for athletes looking to build lean muscle.
Q: I'm a professional athlete. Do any Herbalife24 products contain ingredients banned by anti-doping agencies?

Herbalife goes the extra distance by taking a sample from each batch of Herbalife24 products that is then tested by the Banned Substances Control Group for ingredients of concern. Q: Rebuild Strength contains 24 grams of protein. Is that too much?
Rebuild Strength is intended to help athletes build lean muscle. In fact, the International Olympic Committee issued a consensus statement on supplements, urging athletes participating in high-intensity training to consume 15 g to 25 g of protein following exercise. Rebuild Strength is a great low-fat source of protein to supplement one’s diet.
To put 25 g in perspective, average adults should consume daily 1 g of protein per kilogram of body weight, or about 70 g for the average 155-lb. person. Strength-training athletes have much higher protein requirements to accommodate the increase in protein turnover, and are generally recommended to consume 1.5 g to 2 g per kilogram of protein daily, or upwards of 150 g.*
Q: My friends’ recovery products contain only protein. Why does ours contain carbohydrate, specifically sugar?
Efficient muscle anabolism (growth) is insulin dependent, and insulin is normally released in response to carbohydrate ingestion. We have carefully designed Rebuild Strength to deliver a precise blend of both rapid and sustained metabolised carbohydrates to generate an insulin response to readily use the 24 g of high-quality protein.*
